MSL Pedals:
The New Green Tree
The New Green Tree is a modern take on a classic 1970’s Japanese Big Muff, The Elk Sustainar. A pedal known for full low end distortion and a fuzzy top end, it is great for guitar or bass. Our version uses the same pnp transistors as the original and retains the tonal characteristics with some interesting additions.
Clipp Control: a 4 way rotary switch with different clipping options that have a major effect on the sound.
Ripp Control: highly interactive with the rest of the controls; As you turn it up, the pedal gets more lo-fi bordering on the sound of a blown-out torn speaker.
Boost Circuit: a classic clean boost with its own bypass footswitch
All of this combines for a classic sound with a wide variety of tone shaping options
